A day-long in-person retreat with Brian Lesage
Saturday, May 20th, 2023
9:30am – 4:30pm
Beacon Unitarian Universalist Church (510 N. Leroux Street, Flagstaff, AZ 86001)
In this daylong retreat, we will bring our curiosity to what feeds the capacity for mindfulness. This will be a day of exploring meditative approaches through formal sitting and walking mindfulness meditation practice, and mindful silence throughout the day.
The retreat will be held mostly in silence, with optional times for discussion. This retreat is for beginners and experienced practitioners.
There is NO FEE for this retreat. The teachings of the Buddha have been sustained by the 2,500 year old tradition of dana, a Pali word meaning “generosity.” Our teachers receive no compensation for their services. Retreatants are encouraged to support them by offering donations to them at the retreat’s end. In the act of giving, we develop our ability to let go, cultivate a spirit of caring, and honor our inter-connectedness.
Registration is Required by May 10th
Online Retreat Registration Form

If an applicant is not selected in the lottery after applying for a retreat, the probability of getting accepted increases with each subsequent retreat they apply for.
Any applications received after registration closes will be admitted as room permits.
