The Buddha taught that realization of the true nature of the body is essential for one’s spiritual development. He states, “Whoever develops & pursues mindfulness immersed in the body, encompasses whatever skillful qualities are on the side of clear knowing.”

This 5-week in-person class is for beginners and experienced meditators and is a series of guided meditations, practices, “stretches” intended to assist us to gently, safely, more fully, inhabit our bodies, including the subtle energy system of our bodies.

The first 45-50 minutes will be guided practices, readings, and the last 15 minutes will be for discussion, sharing, questions, etc…

“As we become enlightened, we pervade our body as fundamental consciousness… we awaken to the dimension of fundamental consciousness throughout the internal space of our body….. we feel more human… Rather than feeling like an object for other people that may be judged or rejected, embodied spiritual awakening is an experience of our body as pure subjectivity…. This practice can help people shift from an abstract idea of themselves to an actual experience of themselves. And to shift from being aware of their body to inhabiting their body. When we live within the body, a natural coherence emerges, so that we can experience our whole being at once.”
— Judith Blackstone, author of The Enlightenment Process and
Trauma and the Unbound Body.

Registration is Required as soon as possible and by August 5th!
